No, under current packages we do not sell or resell alcohol. Bartender(s) are only permitted to prepare and serve the alcoholic beverage. It is the sole responsibility of the client to acquire “Purchase” any Alcohol (Beer, Spirits, Liquors and Wines) that will be served during the event. However, we do assist in the acquisition of the alcohol by providing beverage consultation which provides you with a calculated list of required alcohol based ingredients based on your customized menu and the number of expected guests .

Yes, per California State Liquor Laws every guest must be checked for proof of age. No guest under 21 will be served NO EXCEPTIONS. Bartender(s) will be responsible for requesting proper identification and providing 21+ wristbands, ensuring that no underage patrons consume alcohol from the bar.

Yes, we provide a general Liquor Liability Insurance for each event.
Backroads Mobile Bar does not carry a California State Liquor License to sell alcohol to clients or at events, it is the sole responsibility of the client to acquire “Purchase” any Alcohol (Beer, spirits, Liquors and Wines) that will be served during the event.
It is the sole responsibility of the client to obtain event permits required for corporate or large scale event.

Base Package “Starting Fee” is based on the minimum requirements for servicing all parties/events. This includes but is not limited to consultation, menu curation, alcohol acquisition guidance, acquisition of all mixers and drink-ware, the preparation of fresh ingredients and more.
Additions or adjustments may be made to base package depending on client needs. *I.e. “Bar rental” line item may be removed if the client or venue provides a bar/work station that is approved prior to event.
Per Guest Fee includes all fees associated with mixers, garnishes and supplies for servicing each guest.

Backroads requires a non-refundable retainer constituting 40% of the total contract price is required to secure the event date, time, and necessary staffing, thereby ensuring availability for your scheduled event.

Yes, either party reserves the right to terminate this agreement upon providing written notice to the other party (the “Cancellation Notice”) at any time prior to the event date.
The Client(s) acknowledge and agree that the Retainer is non-refundable upon cancellation.
The Client(s) understand that they may be invoiced an “Additional Fee” upon cancellation if a non-refundable purchase was made on their behalf, such as, but not limited to, custom-printed menus, cups, or signage. No, gratuity is not included in the contract. Gratuity may be expressed by permitting our bartenders to place a tip jar in the bar area or you may provide a cash gratuity directly to the bartender at the end of the event.

Yes, we require a 3 hour minimum to book.

Per industry standard, we require 1 bartender and 1 bar back for every 50-75 guests based upon the types of drinks you plan to serve.
